BSNL's low cost Android Tablets

BSNL launched three low cost tablets to rival Akash tablets, in partnership with Pantel  Technologies. The tablet will be sold at data plans from BSNL at reduced cost. 

BSNL Tablets

The cheapest one, Penta T-Pad IS701R  which will cost  Rs. 3250, is powered by 1GHz processor, comes with 256MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3. The tablet also offers HDMI port through which it can be connected to a TV.  Cost of other tablets - Penta T-Pad WS704c and Penta T-Pad WS804c - will be Rs. 10,999 and 13,500.
Pantal Technologies has started the pre-booking of the tablets.

Disable Facebook Timeline in Google Chrome

Follow the steps to disable Facebook's new Timeline in Google Chrome.

• Download and install Google Chrome extension TimelineRemove from Chrome Web Store ( Follow the link to download TimelimeRemove https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dnedfaenfnkikficknkklbdedlecmpgc)
• Click the extension icon to enable and disable timeline.

Another way to disable Timeline in Chrome is given below. 

• Right click on Google Chrome icon and select Properties
• You can see a Target box in Properties window.  It contains a URL to chrome.exe. At the end of that URL leave a space and paste the following code  
• –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”
• For example, C:\Users\Sree\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”

You can disable Facebook Timeline in Mozilla Firefox. You will be able to use the old interface of Facebook. This is applicable to browser only, other will see your timeline.


Follow the steps given below

• Open Firefox and goto Add-ons page (OR press Shift+Ctrl+A)
• Find the add-on User Agent Switcher by searching in the search bar

• Install it and Restart Firefox

• Then goto Tools > Default User Agent > Internet Explorer > Internet Explorer 7. (Press Alt+T to get Tools menu if you cant find it)
• Now goto Facebook, it will open in its old interface.
